Hi, @alexanderblake.
Glad you reached out. I can clarify here.
The GiveWP plugin was designed to be a donation platform, so in order to create a raffle, it would be necessary to change some functionalities. For example, we do not have a way to prevent a user from donating again. In this case, it is necessary that you create some custom code that checks if that donor exists in the database and then prevent the donation.
Although we do not have this feature out of the box, it would be interesting and valuable for us to understand how it would work for you and how it would improve your workflow, so the product development team has some insights into how it would behave.
Also, is there any workaround that you are using? It would be good to hear from you about that too, and what this feature would allow you to do. All ideas are appreciated, and I’m happy to share your insights with the product development team so that they can discuss the feasibility of this feature.
If you prefer, you can add your insights about it here https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/raffle-feature-for-givewp. I’ve added you as a voter for this feature.
Our feedback site is designed to be the single source for all updates on particular issues. If any movement has happened, it will be displayed there for both the public and our team internally.
If specific feedback only has a handful of votes, that influences the priority we place on it. The more votes, the faster things get worked on!
Have a great day!
