Raffle Ticket generating issue

Hello Dan,
I hope you are doing well.
We are using Lottery plugin (Woocommerce) and upsell plugin to sell upsell product as well. It’s not generating more than one tickets we after.

Paid Plugins : https://wpswings.com/product/one-click-upsell-funnel-for-woocommerce-pro/ (This add same product as an upsell product after checkout.)

So basically,
1. Basic plan – it should generate 1 ticket for target product and 1 for upsell product. (on which you are working on.) = 2 tickets
2. Standard plan – 3 tickets(target product) + 3 tickets(upsell product) = total 6 tickets
3. Luxe plan – 15 tickets(target product) + 15 tickets(upsell product) = total 30 tickets
4. Deluxe plan – 50 tickets(target product) + 50 tickets(upsell product) = total 100 tickets

Now, problem is main product only generates the tickets but not the upsell product.

Comment: It has 3+3 = 6entries: but only shows 3 entries

On checkout it should be 15+ 15 = 30 entries but it only generated tickets for target product not for upsell products.

Hi Ketan,

Thank you for getting in touch.

I understand what is happening on your website after the detailed information you provided.

The reason the raffle tickets are not generated for the addon is because is added after the checkout hook. The raffle plugin is creating the tickets at the checkout page when the payment is done. Your plugin is adding the product after the checkout, and that’s why it cannot process it.

Why don’t you push in the cart the addon product before it gets to the checkout? That way you cannot miss any filters/ actions done at the checkout page. This way it will work.

Thanks Dan for getting back to me. Yes, the explanation is clear. I just wanted to know how winner thing works.
Do you have any specific video to check the raffle ticket winner?

Hi Ketan,

Unfortunately is not possible to check the winner with the free version. You’ll need to keep your own records based on the raffle ticket export you have.

Recording the winning ticket and checking if the ticket is valid is done through the premium version only. Sorry about that. Hope the free features are good enough to run the raffle smoothly.
