Thanks for pointing out the issue, I’ll fix it in the next update.
Until the update, I think that the following changes will be displayed normally.

Made the change to functions.php and it fixed the comment problem.

For unknown reasons Post Comments now show “Pingback: [username]” instead of the actual comment.
This may have started after upgrading WordPress to 5.5.
Ane ideas?
