    Hello,

I am using PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce (free version) only for packing slips, with the default template provided by the plugin.

On screen, the PDF looks normal. However, when printing, the document always shows a very large number of extremely fine, tightly spaced lines in all directions (horizontal, vertical and diagonal), which makes the printed result look messy.

I opened the generated PDF in Adobe Illustrator and can see that some areas of the document are made up of many small overlapping elements, which corresponds to what appears when printing.

This happens all the time and makes printing packing slips not an option.

Is this a known issue with packing slips or with the default template? Is there any recommended solution or workaround?

    Thank you for your help.

Could you go to PDF Invoices > Advanced > Tools > Debugging and Logging and see if “Enable debug output” is active here? If so, deactivate it and see how that works.

Thank you for your reply !
All debugging settings are turned off…

    Any other idea?

Do you get this when you use a different printer or send the file to print using a different app?

I don’t think the printer or the printing app is the issue.

When I open the generated PDF in Adobe Illustrator, I can already see all these very fine lines (horizontal, vertical and diagonal) directly in the document itself, especially on the top half of the page, as shown in the screenshot I shared earlier. This is before any printing step.

So the issue seems to come from how the PDF is generated, not from the printer or the application used to print it.

That is why printing always produces the same result.

Do you have any other ideas?

Could you upload a copy of one of these files for us to download, please?

Of course. Here is a test packing slip.

Thanks. This is a bit strange. The lines appear in Illustrator but are removed in Photoshop. When print directly from the browser without downloading the PDF are the lines still there?

I just found a solution! My logo was added as an SVG file. When uploading it as a WEBP file, then everything looks good. I think PNG would have also worked, in case anyone has the same issue in the future.

Thank you for your time! I will close this thread.
    Have a good day 🙂
