Random named folders with index.php inside

    Hi there,

    Something funny is happening on my website.
    I have all this random named folders, bg, fzy, ii, ijw, mhc, mpp, nbh, etc, and all of them have an index.php file inside.
    The folders are created in public.html
    What could cause that and how can i get read of them?

    Yes they say they have nothing to do with it.

    It’s possible that the server or your site may have been hacked. Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Thirteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    The website works fine now, but it works because i asked the guys at the hosting company to restore it.
    The thing is that the restored website has the files.
    I just deleted them and we’l see what happens

    So the site is up and running, but it might crash because of the possible virus inside.
