Random Pagination Issue

    I have spent hours trying to figure out what has happened to my site but unfortunately I have found nothing that is helping me. I hope someone here can help 🙁

    I noticed about a few days ago, that when I attempt to go to page 2 or 3 all the way to page 10…that the site just keeps reloading the same 10 posts and not actually going to older posts that I have published. I did not do any thing to the code manually. All I have done recently is some updates that wordpress told me I had to do to the theme i’m using and plugins, that’s it.

    I have tried searching everywhere but the only discussions I can find on this topic are people who say they actually tried to do custom pagination which I did not. I just want the pages to load my older posts as normal, I am not sure why it keeps reloading the same 10 posts.

    Pagination problems are typically caused by a theme or plugin making another query after the main one, and not resetting the variables. Your page has two separate lists after the main query, so I would suspect one of those.

    Yes, as Joy said: these are issues usually caused by your theme or a plugin. I would suggest asking your theme developer for guidance on this. You can do that here: https://themeforest.net/item/the-voux-a-comprehensive-magazine-theme/11400130/support

    I see, Thank you so much! Is there any way for me to figure out on my own which may be causing the issue? Theme or Plugin? I don’t mind asking my theme support either I will submit a ticket there as well, but just in case!

    In the future when you are trying to debug something you may consider using debug mode in the Health Check plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/. Hope this helps you in the future.
