How many different versions do you want to show?
You can use the A/B testing condition to show 4 different versions. Is that enough?
That might do it, but if I’m running it as an a/b test is it going to annoy me if I plan to let this go indefinitely?

having terrible luck finding a “related articles” plugin that works how I want it to, and with this plugin I can use it not as intended to cycle between a block of content that in a way does what I want. I realize its not ideal. If I was to even do this I’m not sure if I could use it again on the page to have 2 different things running, so making it impossible to do an actual a/b test with this.

Yes, you can run it twice on the same page (simply paste the trigger shortcode twice). I just doubled-check it and if you create one trigger with 4 different versions and set them all to A/B testing, you will always see two different versions.
