Ranking based on karma points

    HI! I’m using your wonderful plugin on my BuddyPress 1.7.1/bbPress 2.3.2 site.

    I have achievements for things like start 1 topic = 5 karma points, 5 replies = 10 karma points etc.

    I plan to implement the leaderboard that @mikebronner, @paul gibbs, and others have so generously shared here – thank you.

    What I’d also like to do is have a rank system. So 100 karma points = novice, 200 points = advanced, 500 points = expert, etc etc.
    I would have a badge for each level that is displayed on the user profile and under their avatar in the forums.

    Can this be done? And if yes but it requires custom code – could a php guru here please provide me with a start point? I know enough php to edit a function, but I can’t start from scratch. Thanks so much!!

    You would need custom code to do that, yes. Probably won’t bee too hard, but it will need a kind samaritan to figure it out and share the code with you 🙂
