I don’t know if it’s WordPress or the theme that brought such a feature.
It saves design changes but does not save the changes made on rank math.

Please check if you are using a Firewall, as it may prevent saving the changes made in the meta box of our plugin.
If you are using a Firewall, please whitelist this route:
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

While saving the data on the posts, please make sure that you keep the browser console open and share the results of the /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta from the network tab so we can advise further.

I talked to the Porto theme producer. They said that they did the update event with Ajax. They reported that this feature cannot be turned off. They said you need to pay a special development fee to turn it off.
Now, because of this theme, I cannot record any changes made on the rank math on the pages. Because the theme records with ajax.
Obviously, I could not do what you have transmitted. Something like that where you said you could not find it.
