Its not this … I had a correctly username.
My user name is this after “@” eg. “mtv”
I set a https://twitter.com/{username} as User Name for a test but return arror exist page
https://twitter.com/mtv is valid so mtv is a valid user name.
Make sure you don’t include the @ mark in the User Name option. Set mtv not @mtv if that’s the case.
Im sure, my User Name is only “mtv”
Make sure the other rules have valid user names.
Ccorrectly, I add that I test this widget on subdomain and there this plugin work, but on main domain dont work :/
So you are using the plugin on a subdomain and the main domain.
Try using a different Twitter account for authentication.
I just updated the development version: http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/fetch-tweets.zip
It has an option that force caching on errors as well so if you check that, you won’t get the rate limit message. The option location is, Fetch Tweets -> Settings -> General -> Cache Settings.
Let me know what happens then.
OK so i used different Twitter account and no better result.
Upadate plugin from your link a check this option in General setting. The “Timeline Request Limit” again down to 0 (from 180) but little slowly and finally I see te same error.
How do you display the tweets? With the shortcode, the PHP function, or the widget?
All right. There was a bug in the caching system. It’s fixed in the development version so please try it again. ( you need to re-download it from the above url posted in the previous comment )
And please re-save the rules.
A display tweets as widget in sidebar.
Reinstall plugin from this link http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/fetch-tweets.zip and re-save rules dont help. Every time I have the same error
> Every time I have the same error
Is it same as "Fetch Tweets: Sorry, that page does not exist Code:34" or "Rate limit exceeded Code:88"?
This: Rate limit exceeded Code:88
Try clearing the caches via Fetch Tweets -> Settings -> Reset -> Clear Caches.
Make sure you check the Cache for Errors option via Fetch Tweets -> Settings -> General. (it should have been set previously)
I’m expecting that you’ll see a different error message before you get the Rate Limit error message. If you see it, tell me the error message.
