Ratings display via PHP

Hallo.

The shortcode [ratings id=”1″ results=”true”] is very useful, but I need to do the same via PHP (to insert in my template code). Because above shortcode pasted into post, doesn’t work in excerpts (e.g. archives, homepage…).
Or is there other way to display ratings in excerpts without giving posibility to vote here directly?
