I’m surprised there’s not even a response to such a serious bug.
Perhaps I should remind you that rockettheme’s business model is built on top of gantry?
I’m having trouble with 2 plugins having issues with gantry. I thought I’d enable wp-debug to find a source for the issues, but couldn’t read through the hundreds of warning messages.
I found a theme that I want to use and love what gantry has to offer. I really want to buy a membership, but not when a promising framework is gonna give me just more headaches. I surely am not gonna pay for premier support to fix a problem that you caused in the first place.
Here’s some of the warnings (in 4.0.8 and 4.1.0) Please make em go away…
Strict Standards: Non-static method GantryLoader::import() should not be called statically in C:\xampp\htdocs\gantry.loc\wp-content\plugins\gantry\functions.php on line 86

I now only have to switch theme and back to lose the top menu widget. That is without disabling the plugin as described in my first post.
WP 3.8.1 and gantry 4.1.1
I can provide a testsite login for gantry theme authors for a quick check.
EDIT: this behaviour seems to only occur when addthis(3.5.8) is active. Plugin doesn’t seem to work with gantry anyway, but still indicates a problem that should be fixed.
I use a plugin to import/export gantry settings and it works fine:
Gantry Export and Import Option

I’m aware of that plugin, but thanks for replying.
Still, the dev theme should fix this bug.
