Re-direct loop

    All I’m need to do is change wp-login to /login but when I enter this in the permalink settings I can’t access the login page from another browser:

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    Maxthon fails to load the page, as does IE.

    Can you advise? There seems little scope to configure this incorrectly.

    I used the URLs as you’ve listed – user/login etc. All working fine as test users until I logged out as admin. Login page then loops back to itself without logging in – as any user inc. admin.

    Exactly the same fault as this plugin – http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/rename-wp-login/

    is there any resolution to this? after i enabled the plugin today, the home page did not complete loading for a long time in another browser window. then i had to turn it off.

    @arjunsinghal did you made some changes in Custom Login URL configuration? If so can you post them in this thread?
