re-install nearly working

    I did a new install and WordPress loaded, said it was already installed and needed to update the database which it did but then gave me the following error. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get it working agian?

    Call to undefined function wp_dashboard_setup() in /home/a8293550/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 15

    Hi Saravanan
    I came across that but it made no difference. Although at one stage it moved on to flagging the next line with something about T-string.

    It now says:

    – Call to undefined function wp_dashboard_setup() in /home/a8293550/public_html/wp-admin/index.php on line 16 –

    line 16 is: wp_dashboard_setup();
    so just a different line number.
