Re-installing a fresh wordpress theme

Hi,
I have recently bought a new theme to update my current site and all the information in it. I have installed the new theme and pictures and text from my old site have been transferred to my new theme, i am looking to delete this stored information so my new theme works properly, any information on how i can do this would be great. Thanks
