Read More button and Elementor

When I save my progress with Elementor, my read more button does not stop the text and place a read more button. It disregards the placement entirely and shows the whole context. If I go back to WordPress and save my progress, the read more function works but my Elementor progress goes away. I am using the Ashe Pro theme.
