    i’m loving this theme but noticed a small problem with the read more button on the slider. when viewing the site from any mobile phone i tested (iphone & android), the read more button disappears from the slider. and, the text in the grey textbox does not adjust well – a few words are visible, making the message difficult to understand.

    is it possible to force the header text (the text with the white background) to appear over the slider in mobile view? it’s less words and would work out better in a mobile environment, probably.

    or, can the text also adjust so that it can all be seen?

    and, is it possible to force the read more button to appear on the slider in mobile view?

    here’s a link to the site in development so you can view it in mobile and see the problem i explained. -thanks!

  • Hi

    Kindly replace media-responsive.css(Appointment theme package >> css >> media-responsive.css) file with this LINK

    Then save and check your website.

    Thanks.

    Thank you for looking at this, Imran.

    I replaced the css file as you instructed. I cleared the cache on my browser and then checked the site – there is no difference in the appearance of the front slider… :/

    Here are links to screenshots from an Android Mobile device so you can see what it looks like. As you can see, there is no “READ MORE” button and the majority of the grey text cannot be read.

    Hi Imran,

    I really appreciate your help. But after clearing my cache memory, I still cannot see all of the text over the slider, or the READ MORE button over the slider image.

    I also downloaded the Opera browser and viewed the site with the same results.

    The slider image on the front page reduces nicely for mobile viewing, but the text does not. This leaves very little text showing, and no room for the READ MORE button over the slider image.

    Here are links to my results today, using the Opera browser on an Android mobile device. Note that Chrome looks exactly the same.

    I added you as an administrator to the site – you should have received a WordPress email titled, “[North Jersey Termite] Your username and password info”

    Thanks. Please let me know if this can be adjusted so the text can downsize to fit the slider, and the READ MORE button can be included.

    Instead, is it possible to just completely remove all of the text over the homepage slider?

    I left the title blank, and put a more tag at the top of my post to work around this, but there is a little bit of the grey text box showing, still.

    I was able to get rid of the grey background by creating a blank post. But still need a way to remove the post title from the slider, is that possible?

    Hi

    For this use below code in custom css Field

    .slide-text-bg1 h2
    {
    display:none !important;
    }

    Thanks.

    Imran,
    I’m not able to see my read more or text in the slider on my mobile device either. Having the same problem as marytitanium. I looked at this site called: http://constructionoptimize.com/ on my iphone and it shows up beautifully. Can you suggest what I need to do to get my site to show up correctly on my iphone. The site I’m working on is: leaguecityducks.com
    Thank you in advance.
