When we put in a shortcode like [shortcode] (just something simple like displaying a few links to pages) the readability check isn’t working, and reports all kinds of mistakes.

Is it possible to prevent Yoast from breaking when using shortcodes in the content?

    – Using Classic Editor
    – Yoast 14.02
    – Latest WordPress

  • That’s an odd issue, Silvan.

Could you please update to 14.0.4 and see if the issue persist?

This could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. If everything is updated on your site, including your theme and other plugins, please perform a conflict check following the steps here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/

    Thanks!

@silvan We are sorry to hear about your issue. Can you please confirm if updating to Yoast SEO 14.0.4 resolves your issue? We would be glad to hear from you.
