    hi, when i click the button to show me the errors in the readability of my posts, the sections arent highlighted in the post so i cant see where i need to make the changes, how can i fix this? thank you, john.

    We understand the eye highlight functionality in the readability analysis isn’t working as expected.

    Are you using the default WordPress block or classic editor? Or are you using a third-party page builder plugin or custom theme box to add your content?

    We would expect that the eye highlighting would work with the block editor, as well as with the classic editor (convert to blocks). The eye highlighting would either be disabled or wouldn’t work with a third-party page builder plugin or custom theme box, as these build on top of the standard functionality.

    hi, i have found the yoast plugin in the elementor side bar but i still cant see the highlighted text? I am using elementor to create my posts not so much pages, and i have the classic editor installed as well? thank you john.

    Just to clarify, when the integration with Yoast SEO and Elementor was launched, this was indeed the case that the eye was greyed-out. In future versions of Yoast SEO and Elementor, we removed the greyed-out eye altogether, as it wasn’t meant to use the ‘eye highlight’ functionality with Elementor. It’s something we would possibly want in the future, but as of now, it’s not in any of our timelines to implement.

    If you want to use the ‘eye highlight’ functionality, you’ll need to use the default WordPress block editor. We apologize for this inconvenience.
