    Good morning all,

I am having some issues with the YOAST SEO widget and keep encountering this same problem even after 40 revisions of the text I have created to fix the problem.

    Readibility: Needs improvement.

    1. Consecutive sentences: The text contains 4 instances where 3 or more consecutive sentences start with the same word. Try to mix things up!

I can’t find any instances on the web-page I am writing right now which makes this error stay so persistently.

Please help! I don’t know what to do anymore! πŸ™

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @lincoban,

Can you please provide us with the exact URL where you are getting the warning about consecutive sentences?

    Hi @jerparx

The readability problem occurs on the homepage: https://xmarker.co.uk

    Hi @lincoban,

Please update to Yoast SEO 9.1 (which has been released today) and let us know if the issue persists. If it does, please also include a screenshot of the readability analysis tab.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi @marius_codeinwp

I have updated the YOAST widget today.
    Still encountering the same errors.

Below I have attached a screenshot of the readability analysis tab for you to have a look at.

    Thank you

@lincoban Thanks for providing the screenshot. If you click on the text highlight function for the warning, does it indicate which part of the text the analysis is referring to?

    @devnihil

Hi, thank you for your reply.

No, it doesn’t indicate which part of the text it refers to, which is even more frustrating because I can’t fix it.

I have tried to manually adjust it and the text is just fine as it is according to the guidelines provided but the error still persists.

I tested the source code of the content of the provided page and found that the 4 icons with text are created with repetitive paragraphs which appear to provide different layouts for different screen sizes.

Therefore, this is a false positive cause by the method used to create this section. The message can be ignored for now.

Please report this issue to the plugin or theme developer that allows you to create this section style to determine if there’s a way to prevent the section from repeating the same content multiple times.
