Reader Revenue Manager setup, at what stage should it end in the Site Kit plugin? This service is new, I want to connect it, but it doesn’t want to complete. It says “Create publication”, although all the settings on the Reader Revenue Manager service have already been made.

Thanks for reaching out @pivovody. It sounds like you either didn’t get your publication approved at this time, or you’re not complete setting up your publication from https://readerrevenue.withgoogle.com. If you’d like to share your Site Health information and I can assist with this further.

We also have a guide on the Site Kit website that assists with information on setting up Reader Revenue Manager. Until your publication is approved by the Reader Revenue Manager team, you won’t be able to fully complete set up within Site Kit. The below is also a great starting point on getting your publication up and running.

Thanks.. here are the settings https://sitekit.withgoogle.com/documentation/using-site-kit/managing-reader-revenue-manager/#setup but for me everything stopped at the “Create publication” item. The Publisher Center itself already has active products: surveys, contribution suggestions, call to action. I don’t understand what exactly Google is checking..Reader Revenue Manager Status “Active”, I have an ID.What specifically needs to happen for your plugin to work with Reader Revenue Manager?

Thanks for the update @pivovody. In that case, it may be a case that the URLs don’t match exactly what’s defined withing Reader Revenue Manager and your WordPress site address. I can see the below when checking the Site Health information which you kindly shared:
    reader_revenue_manager_publication_onboarding_statenone

To troubleshoot this further, and ensure you can use the feature as expected on your site, please share a screenshot of the URLs you see when visiting Reader Revenue Manager > Open > Publication Settings > Publication URLs. You can use a service such as Imgur or Jumpshare to share a screenshot, while using the form above to share this privately.

If it’s a case that your site URL does match exactly, such as a https/www or other difference, this could be the cause. If so, you can add your site URL as an additional URL if it’s based off the primary domain.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your help! I finally understood that setting up a URL is ADDING AN RSS-FEED THERE!!! I don’t understand why they don’t explain it there.. Or maybe I read it wrong.. Thanks again..

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. It looks like the issue may be based on your site URL in Reader Revenue Manager being http (non-secure). Can you adding your site with the https prefix as an “Additional URL” as per your screenshot?

After doing so, let me know if you’re then able to proceed with completing Reader Revenue Manager set up within Site Kit.

Glad to help where possible @pivovody. Indeed your site is fully secure (https). The issue was that your site as it was listed in Reader Revenue Manager was no secure (http). I’m unsure why, but it’s possible that the site was added as http at some point, whether though Site Kit or manually if initially adding via Reader Revenue Manager without Site Kit.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this. Thank you.
