Really good plugin, but…

    It’s a good plugin, with a solid free quota of 20MB and fairly reasonable pricing. I only have two criticisms:

    1. The “smart” compression works great for standard images, but it’s pretty disastrous for PNG files (saved as JPG) with flat vector-style designs like the ones I use on my site (though honestly, that’s true of most image compressors). I’ve switched to lossless mode, which still compresses well.
    2. The bulk mode can be a bit unreliable. When viewing the Media Library in list mode — even with just a few images displayed — the process often only runs partially.

    Other than that, the interface is clean, the options are sufficient, and the free version is enough in most cases.
