• Really weird errors.

This post will be lengthy but I want to explain my actions fully.

I’m on my iPad and build my website via my domain with WordPress on my website.

I’m building links for a store. I tap the link icon and paste the url. It appears clickable and I hit return to add my image

I tap Add Media, upload media, photo library from my iPad and click the image. I add it and fill the alt text and description. I click on the insert button.

I hit return and paste the text. I hit return after the text sections to give space.

I choose categories and hit View Post. All looks great and I hit Publish.

Now comes my issue. I view the website and the post is text. In Safari I see text and no paragraphs. No image. One hundred posts broken.

I just viewed a post on my iPhone and it is fine. The website is broken. My iPad is not near me to check.

I’m checking in Safari and Chrome. Broken.

So … why do the posts show up on View Post but are broken on my website?

  • Kindly give the link to one or two pages on your website where this problem is occurring, and let me check the code to see where the image is pointed to.

I’d rather not post the link. The links are text, the text is running and the paragraphs are not there.

It makes no sense that the view post is fine but the website is broken.

A simple examination of the HTML code generated by WordPress could clear up this apparent mystery. If you’re unable to do this yourself but also unable to have us do this for you, there’s really not a whole lot we can do to help you then.

    Good luck.
