My site is using the official wordpress amp plugin in standard mode where all my pages are served with amp. Wpforms works great on the amp pages, however I can’t get forms to submit once recaptcha v3 is enabled. I’ve followed all setup and troubleshooting options in your help docs. I’ve created a test form here https://www.ryansmithphotography.com/contact-form-test/ so you can see what happens with it enabled. Thanks for the help!

    Hi @rsmith4321,

You may need to go to your Google account’s reCAPTCHA settings select the option “Allow this key to work with AMP pages”. Here’s a screenshot of that option.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Like I said I’ve done all troubleshooting and instructions you provide already and even searched the amp documentation. Have you found that recaptcha v3 works for some people on amp with wpforms? Do you have any amp pages using wpforms and recaptcha v3 I could check out?

    Hi @rsmith4321,

    Thanks for the update.

I’ve gone to your page to take another look, and it looks like there might be a conflict between the forms and the site theme or another plugin which prevents WPForms assets from loading properly.

For example, here’s how form validation error looks when WPForms assets are loaded. On your site, the browser’s default HTML validation is used instead (here’s a screenshot of that).

To troubleshoot this, please try the steps described in our detailed guide on how to test for plugin/theme conflicts.

    Hope this helps!

I activated the twenty seventeen theme and deactivated all plugins except for amp and it had no effect. The forms works the same. Do you have an example page I could check out where amp and recaptcha v3 is working correctly? I’m actually thinking it might be a conflict with the latest version of the amp plugin.

    Hi @rsmith4321,

Thanks for letting us know! When you get the chance, could you try disabling AJAX form submission in the form to see if that resolves the issue? Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hi @rsmith4321,

We haven’t heard back from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist, please feel welcome to continue the conversation (please just see my post above).

    Thanks!

I’m not sure what happened to my previous response, I was waiting to hear back. I disabled the Ajax on the form. I’m still having the same issue. Thanks.

    Hi @rsmith4321,

Thanks for the update. As it looks like the site theme is not loading the form assets well, could you also try using a default theme on your site with the AJAX form submission disabled?

    Thanks!

I tried it with the Twenty Seventeen theme without AJAX and got the same result. If you could be more specific about what asset isn’t being loaded I could contact my theme developer as well. Although amp doesn’t allow any extra javascript to be loaded. Thanks.

    Hi @rsmith4321,

We’d like to take a closer look at the form that is used on your site. When you get the chance, could you export the form and share it with us by submitting a ticket? In the ticket, please share a link to this thread so we can follow up on the issue.

    Thanks!

Is it possible to submit a ticket just using the free version of WPForms? You are welcome to log into an account on my site and check out the settings there. What I did was that test page I sent before, I created a new form there based on your default “simple contact form” settings and the only thing I changed was to enable v3 reCAPTCHA.

    Hi @rsmith4321,

While we don’t usually provide support for WPForms Lite with our email support platform, we’d like to take a closer look at this issue.

If you’d like us to do this, please complete the contact form on our site, and include a link to this thread so our team is aware of our conversation to assist further.

In order to troubleshoot this issue, we’ll need to log into your site. When you get a chance, please let me know:

    1) Your WordPress site’s administrator logins (username and password)
    2) Your site’s login URL (for example, test.com/wp-login.php)

And in case it helps, you can also choose to securely share these details with us through a temporary link (we’ve shared additional details in this tutorial). You’re also more than welcome to create a temporary admin account if you’d prefer.

Once I have these details I’ll be able to log into the site and take a look.

    Thanks 🙂

Great I submitted it as a bug report through your contact form. I don’t mind paying for plugins I just need a simple contact form so the lite version is great if I can get it working. Thanks.

    Hi @rsmith4321,

Thanks for sending those details over, and I’ve replied to your email. When you get the chance, please have a look.

    Thanks!
