First, I would add or change gateway to offline payments and retest (and that would allow us to test as well). If you are hitting a black / blank page there are a few things to try:

2. Switch to a default WordPress theme and deactivate any non-Charitable plugins, reset permalinks, and try again.
3. It’s possible an error of some sort is blocking displaying the page.
