Receiving Daily Errors

    Started receiving errors everyday on deliveries. Not all deliveries are erroring out. At times I can go in and resend the notification from the Gravity Form area and it works fine. Also will work if I resend notification from the SMTP area (however formatting is off). However, there are times I am unable to resend even from Gravity form area.     I have been getting the same errors from one of my clients that uses Office 365 for authentication. Are you also using Office 365?

    My clients using other mail servers aren’t getting this error, so I assume something changed with Office 365 to create these errors.

    They are using Office 365. I noticed the same thing, no other issues with other clients on various hosting and email systems.

    The weird thing is if I “Send a Test Message” via the Post SMTP admin screen, it actually goes through. So I am not sure why it would fail on submitting with a form.

    Hi @jcd1006 and @gfxdesigner,

    As I see it your form is letting setup a from address that office 365 is rejecting.

    can you check the email log and see what is the from address in one of the failed emails?

    That worked! Thank you for the update.

    It’s a bummer that Office 365 is strict on the “from”. I understand it’s because of preventing spoofing, but it makes it so convenient in forms to have the reply-to be the actual form submitter.
