My client has been using this plugin for a long time now and the site admin email just started getting notifications this past weekend out of no where when new users sign up or change their password. They are the default WordPress notification emails. The don’t get sent when users sign up anywhere else on the site. It’s only users that sign up via Gmail through this plugin.

    Hi @jessiemele

Nextend Social Login registers the users the same way as WordPress does, so these notifications are not sent by us but by WordPress.
This means any plugin that can modify – Better Notifications for WP – or disable – e.g.: Manage Notification E-mails – the default WordPress notifications will also disable the notifications sent when a user registers with Nextend Social Login.
( If you haven’t received these registration notifications so far, then I assume you had either a code or another plugin that blocked these emails. )

Note: If you don’t want to use a third party plugin plugin, then in the Pro Addon we also have some options for disabling these emails, however on this forum we are only allowed to provide help for the Free version. So if you would like to know more information about this feature, then please open a support ticket at: https://nextendweb.com/contact-us/nextend-social-login-support/?ref=https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/receiving-notification-emails-suddenly/

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

Thanks for replying Laszlo. They have had nothing in place, that I can see, that was blocking the emails. And they claim it just started this past weekend out of no where. It is odd. I will look into one of those plugins. Thanks!
