Recent major Gravity Forms update issue

I tried updating to the most recent Gravity Forms, and had to revert to a site backup to restore the form, which was no longer working or displaying…

It seems it is this plugin that is not playing well with the new Gravity Forms…

I have designed around what this plugin does, and it is really appreciated… I do not want to have to redesign whole large complex forms again, and do want to stay current with Gravity Forms…

Could you please test this out with the new Gravity Forms…?

I am referring above to version 2.3… Strangely, 2-3 days ago it was 2.3.1 which came quickly after 2.3… 2.3.1 was the one I updated to that trashed the form… Had to restore site because of the database changes it made…

But now at this moment it is saying 2.2.6.5 is the update… Yet ‘new version details’ still shows the 2.3 changelog…

So some shifting seems to be happening, perhaps issues they are finding, no knowing…

And, all seems fine with 2.2.6.5…

Hi crzyhrse,

I know, there was a major update, I had several problems with it on my own installations. These issues were not related to my plugin.

I don’t think, there is any conflict between my plugin and the new version of Gravity forms.

I just tested it on my local install and everything is working as expected. The plugin is not in conflict with Gravity Forms.

So you should reach out GF support for some help updating your GF plugin. I hope, it will be fixed soon!

For some reason I did not get a notice from WP when you posted your reply here…

I truly appreciate that you replied in a timely way even without me knowing, and what you say here, all of which gives me confidence…

I am noticing the 2.3.1 update is back… I have created a cloned site to test with, and will give the update a try again… If there is still issue I will open a Gravity Forms ticket…

EDIT: It worked fine this time, though it did take a while for the database to update… No knowing what might be different in Gravity Forms this time, but will offer that some php limits and server resource limits have been increased since last effort to upgrade…
