Recent Posts as images

    i’m looking for a plugin which will display a pre-defined number of recent posts as thumbnails instead of text. this list of recent posts will be on the main index page (not the sidebar like i’ve seen elsewhere).

    i’ve searched the forums, and tried several suggestions which were posted, and nothing seemed to work. i’ve tried post-images post-thumbs and some others i can’t think of now..

    if anybody knows of a fairly easy plugin to setup, could you PLEASE let me know?

    Am also looking for a similar thing for sidebar as well as for main blog section. Have tried post-image etc but to no avail – I think this is partly due to me not totally understanding php – so if there is a dummies guide or something that would be great
