• The recent update this week (0.5.4.4 and 0.5.5) broke all the redirections we had on the subsite of a multisite network.

We were using Simple 301 Redirects when we first noticed the issue, and then we tested with the popular Redirection plugin. In both cases, all redirected URLs would return a 404 error (and sometimes a redirect loop).

We had to downgrade to 0.5.4.3 to get it all working again.

Can you test the latest release against URL redirections to verify this issue and see if there is a possible fix?

No, we cannot test domain mapping with 35000 plugins.

Before downgrading did you visit your settings -> permalinks page to see if the plugin worked correctly with the rewrite rules refreshed?

Ron, we did test 0.5.5 before we rolled back to 0.5.4.3 and it didn’t work. We also tested several times rewriting the permalinks in the settings and it still failed. There was some (limited) success in using the Post Name setting, but it was not consistent for some reason (it broke again after 2-3 page loads, though I can’t imagine why). With the other 3 primary settings (other than default) it failed to work at all.

Of course I don’t expect you to test against 35,000 plugins, but we used two redirection plugins to test this out and it failed on both, which leads me to believe that the latest version get conflicted with redirections in general.

I have the same problem, downgraded to 0.5.4.3 and the problem was over.
