    The theme auto-updated this morning (which I have now turned off the auto updates as this is the second time it’s caused issues). Unfortunately when it updated, several visual customizations have changed. The theme customizer indicates that everything should look correctly (it shows the correct font, colors, etc. selected), however that is not what is rendering on the site.

    Example issues:

    • The heading and body font selections are not displaying correctly on the site anymore
    • The menu font color selection is not displaying correctly on the site anymore
    • The footer background color selection is not displaying correctly on the site anymore

    How can we revert back to the prior theme version? Or can you help address these issues?

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

    From what I can see, your customizations are still there but are overridden from your child theme’s stylesheet. It would appear you are duplicating a large portion of the main stylesheet inside your child’s stylesheet. Could you please remove the code you do not need? I suspect this started happening now because a WP update, not a theme update.

    Thank you! That helped a lot. Appreciate the feedback!

    In the changelog of the last Sydney update 2.63 (December 3, 2025) is given:

    • Add boxed layout support for blog archives;

    This is a really nice addition and works quite well. Thank you for this. But now the boxed layout of the single blog pages is broken. It appears unboxed although I selecten “boxed” in “Boxed content area” option in general settings of single posts in the customizer.

    The same is true for Pages: actual appearance is always unboxed, although “boxed” is chosen.
