I recently updated the Huge-IT forms and it shut down the site and gave an error message. I called tech support for the site host and they were able to access the backend and disable the plugin. Any tips before I enable the plugin?

    Hi Support,

I’ve got the same problem. It shut down my site and several of my client sites. The error message I’m getting is
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home1/janmoore/public_html/asmilingworld.org/wp-content/plugins/forms-contact/admin/hugeit_contact_captcha.php on line 17

I’ve deactivated the plugin to bring the site back up and I don’t want to have to change plugins as it will mean recreating all y forms. Help please.

Thank you @janmoore for the feedback.
We think that this issue may be related to the version of your php.
If the version of php is old then we recommend to downgrade to our old versions, otherwise you may contact your hosting provider and ask them to update the php version

    Thank you

Same thing happened to me. Will an earlier version of the plugin be safe to use?

Also what version of Php should be the hosting co upgrade to?

    Hi
Sure you may use old versions of plugin.

The php version is normal starting with 5.3 and higher

@shokhancs we will more more than happy to assist you had you drop us an email at [email protected] We would like to investigate the reason and fix it, so that you could use the current version of the plugin
