Recent update thumbnail carousel problem

    The recent update appears to cause problems with thumbnail images, which are now loading extremely slowly. The only way I have found to ‘resolve’ this was to disable the carousel, so that only one image is loading for the thumbnail. Previously WordPress was responsible for lazy-loading, which worked perfectly. It appears now that the WordPress native lazy-loading is being overridden in favour of the new slider, which loads very slowly. Will this issue be resolved?

    Hi – thank you very much for the quick response. This is what I see before the images fully load – confirmed on 3 different devices, so things are definitely not working properly.

    Hi Beelana
    Yes, it’s still the same – I’ve now turned off the carousel, which has resolved it because it’s only the 1st thumbnail loading.
