I just jumped ship from an old redirect plugin that had been retired from the WP Repository (thanks to WordFence for the heads-up on that).
After a quick search, this plugin seemed to tick all the boxes – well-reviewed, regular updates, from a trusted/active plugin developer.
After installation, the plugin quickly guides you through the (simple) setup, and within a minute you are happily adding your redirects via an intuitive and useful GUI. All finished on 2 different sites within 10 minutes, and working well.
