I’m loving the optimizer theme. Could you tell me what is the recommended dimensions for the hero image and for the header?

The recommended Slider Image dimension is 1920px x 900px

If the Pro version do you have the ability to custom place the buttons on the hero image?

Yes. You can add additional buttons on the Hero Image using Optimizer Pro.
