How can I select products or configure a plugin so that it does not delete selected recommended products?

If you’re using the built-in up-sells and cross-sells fields for this, you can tell WP All Import not to update the ‘_upsell_ids’ and ‘_crosssell_ids’ custom fields in the Import Settings: https://d.pr/i/9S36Y9.

If you’re using a third party plugin for recommended products, please replicate the issue on a debug site at http://wpallimport.com/debug and open a ticket at http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the details.

In that case the fields shouldn’t be updated at all. Please try disabling do_action calls in the Import Settings: https://d.pr/c8LRQ.

If that doesn’t fix it, replicate the issue on a debug site at http://wpallimport.com/debug and open a ticket at http://www.wpallimport.com/support/ with the details. We’ll need to see this issue in action to advise further.
