Recording failure

    Hello,
    I have a problem with a client’s website using TablePress : it used to work perfectly until last week. Suddenly, they can’t create a new line in their table. When they hit the “Submit modifications” button, they get an error message :

    “Echec d’enregistrement: AJAX call successful, internal saving process failed. Try again while holding down the “Shift” key.”

    Trying again while holding the “Shift” key doesn’t change anything.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Most likely, the “jQuery Migrate Helper” plugin plays a role here, which is activated on your site.
    As this is only a development helper plugin, it should not be permanently active. The best solution is to deactivate “jQuery Migrate Helper”. If this leads to other errors (related
    to jQuery/JavaScript) these should be reported to the corresponding
    plugin developers.

    Thanks for your quick answer : you were right, it worked again the moment I deactivated the plugin. Now of course, the menu doesn’t work anymore, but you’re not concerned ;).

    Hi,

    good to hear that this helped!

    The problems with the menu are likely caused by JavaScript errors in some theme JS files. You should be seeing more details in the JS error log console. These can then help to fix the bugs in the theme (or menu plugin).
