I activated a plugin that created new tables in the database and wanted to reset the data for the plugin, so I tried deactivating and deleting the plugin, and then reinstalling it. When that didn’t work, I tried manually deleting the plugin’s tables, but now the plugin won’t create those tables again.

What do I need to do to get it working correctly? Thanks.

It depends on which Plug-in you are referring to. You are more likely to get help if you mention which plug-in you are trying to “reset”.

Oh sorry, I’m trying to use the Achievements plugin, here: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/achievements/

    Try it in this order:

    1. Deactivate and delete the plugin.

    2. Drop the plugin’s tables from the database.

    3. Reinstall and reactivate the plugin.

I noticed on the plugin page that it is apparently broken in the latest release of WordPress. Perhaps this is one of the problems?

Also, since this is a WordPress MU-only plugin, you may get a better response in the WordPress MU support forums:
