I’m really confused. I thought only one commission was rewarded for an initial purchase, but according to the above it looks like it pays the commission everytime a subscription payment is made too? Can this be clarified?
Ideally it’d be nice to have this as an option to turn on or off for users. In our case, most people should only get a commission once for the initial sale. But for a select few people we’d like to give them recurring commissions for subscription payments too.
If necessary I’d gladly pay for something like this in an addon. Problem is we need a solution very soon. Any insight?

Hi, this might be related to the way you have Paid Membership Pro set up in your site. The integrating addon only tracks all the referrals and gives a commission.
We already have that addon. I still don’t think my questions in my second post are being addressed, I appreciate your help though. I’m trying to understand the fundamental behavior in which WP Affiliate Manager works regarding initial/recurring commissions and what the options are.

It’s getting a little more crucial now. I may need to switch Affiliate software unless WP Affiliates Manager can offer the following:
– allow some affiliates to be paid a one-time non-recurrring commission
– allow other affiliates to receive recurring commissions for membership subscription payments
Would this be possible in the very near future? I’d be happy to pay to support an extra add-on. If not though please let me know so I can prepare looking elsewhere. Thanks a lot.

It should already handle the recurring commission from subscription payments. Are you using paypal subscription with PMPRO?
I am. And I think I just assumed wrong thinking the commissions were only for the initial payment. I didn’t know commissions automaticallly recur with each subscription payment.
Like I mentioned above, ideally I’d like to have both options. Would be nice to have an option where you choose whether or not commissions are one-time vs recurring for a given affiliate or group.
Anyway I might see if any other affiliate software can handle both. Or if you think this can be updated soon to handle both, let me know?
It’d also be nice to be able to have different payouts for initial vs recurring. For example giving an affiliate 50% on initial payment, then only 20% on recurring subscription payments. Just ideas.
