    I correctly installed WooCommerce, your plugin and the Stripe payment gateway but the recurring payments don’t work: the initial ayment goes through but then the first recurring transaction gets declined by Stripe, the WooCommerce order fails and the subscription goes in “on-hold” status.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Please let us know which stripe plugin you’re using currently , as our free plugin is only compatible with the default one developed by the WooCommere.

    We are using WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway that works fine with normal WooCommerce products. In specific WooCommerce order of the first recurrent payment gives this error:”
    Stripe transaction failed The order status has changed from Pending payment to Failed.”.
    For the same first recurring payment the Stripe Log gives error “402 Cannot charge a customer that has no active card” even though the initial payment of the subscription goes through normally.

    Kindly share the screenshot of the concern you’re facing with the payment, also if possible please share the error log you are getting at the time of failed payments so that we are able to check and assist you in a better way.

    Hi,

    By checking all the details and screenshots, it looks like the customer has removed the card from the stripe account that’s why it is showing the error message.

    we can’t make a payment again if the customer has not the card active on his/her end.

    Hi, the card that was used in the screenshot its a card we use to test our ecommerce, and it is 100% functional and active. What is meant with the customer has removed the card from the stripe account ? We have a stripe account for our ecommerce, do the clients need to have one too to make recurring payments with your plugin?

    No, the clients don’t need to have a stripe account in any case, to investigate it further we need to look deep into the causes, and to do that you need to connect with our support team, please connect with them so that they will be able to check and assist you further.
