    Hi W3TC team

I’m currently using W3 Total Cache (W3TC) version 2.8.8 and have noticed some unusual behavior, particularly regarding cache folder creation within the page_enhanced directory. It appears that W3TC is generating nested folders with excessive depth.

For example, the following folder structure is being created:

    page_enhanced/domain-name/level-1/level-2/level-3/level-4/level-5/level-1/level-6/level-3/level-7/level-1/level-2/level-3/level-7/level-5/level-1/level-6/level-3/level-7/level-1/level-2/level-3/level-7/

This issue did not occur when I was using version 2.8.2.

Additionally, it seems that W3TC is not properly deleting expired cache files.

    Thanks

    Hello @anugrahjaya1

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!
Can you please share the website URL?
There can be subfolders depending on the website structure and the possibly if there are comments on the page or simmilar.
As for removing the expired cache files, this depends on the Garbage collection interval setting, so can you please share more information on how the expired cache files are not properly deleted?

    Thanks!
