Me too — the suggestion to de-activate and then re-activate the plugin seems to have worked for me. (From the thread at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/alert-box-showing-after-update/ )
What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?
i am using astra theme, plugins are elementor, w3 cache
Divi theme for one of them and a custom theme utilizing Advanced Custom Fields. Both use the following: Fastest Cache, Yoast SEO, 404 to 301 – Redirect, Classic Editor.
Try switching to the default theme, deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Classic Editor and Yoast SEO, and clearing all cache data.
Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.
I will try this and provide feedback.

Here is what I found out. The issue stems from a cache issue. For some odd reason WP Fastest Cache plugin wasn’t clearing the css data appropriately. The red bar is no longer visible upon clearing and hard refreshing my browser. Thank you.
