Redirect doenst work

    Hi
    i had installed the plugin “yoast seo premium” and worked, but, when i set now a new redirect, doenst work.
    i am trying redirect a single page located in root example
    var/html/wp-content
    my page is locate in
    var/html/single-page

    but when i redirect from
    site.com/single-page
    to
    site.com
    doenst work
    someone knows how to solve please?

    wordpress 5.8.1
    nginx server
