I’m getting a redirect error on opening new page and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Hope you can help. I don’t want to make site public as its password protected. Sorry not sure how to get around that.
Thanks in advance for the help.

    “The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.”

  • This means that you have a page redirecting to a page that redirects back to the initial page.

To check it (assuming you have only Quick Redirects set up), go to the Quick Redirects page in the admin. Hit CTRL+F (on a PC or CMD+F on Mac) and that should bring up the browser search box. Enter the slug of the page that is in a redirect loop (i.e., /my-page/) and see what it shows. If you see the slug in the Request URL AND the Destination URL for any redirects, you will need to remove one of them or you will continue to get a loop.

If you have an individual redirect setup that redirects FROM that page, check to see where you are redirecting it to – if it goes to a URL that redirects back to itself, it will also loop.

Let me know if you are able to resolve this.
