    Hi rfischmann,

    You’re welcome.

Do you want users viewing AMP page to be able to re-direct to the Non-Amp pages??

    Nope.

I want users to be automatically redirected from AMP to normal pages if they try to visit an AMP page from a desktop.

    Hi rfischmann,

The feature which you’ve requested is for very specific use-case but we’re not going to add it in our Plugin and if you want us to implement this we’ll do the custom coding and give it to you.

I’ve just wondered because, in the past week, I’ve noticed two sites that do exactly that. I think it does make sense.

Would you guys charge me for that custom code?

    Hi rfischmann,

Yes, we do charge for the custom code before that could you send me the URL of your Website so that I can check and let you know about it?

    Same here!

Why would you want AMP pages displayed when accessing the site from a desktop computer???

If the user accesses from a mobile device then recognise that and direct them to the AMP version.

Why does it not work that way round????

Does anyone monitor these pages from the developer??

Not too worried now as have deleted the plugin

    Hi @rfischmann,

Sorry for the delay in the response..
Could you please let me know the URLs of those two websites where you have observed that AMP pages are redirecting to Non-AMP Pages so that I can have look on that?

    Hi @4gconsultancy,
Please co-operated with us, as there were many users in the queue for which we were little bit busy to reply to this message, Please let us know what issue did you have got so that I can fix it for you? Deleting our plugin without giving a chance is unfare.:)

    Maybe harsh with the delete.

It seems that the plugin works the opposite way round to how it is portrayed

When I installed the plugin whilst on a desktop computer it turned all pages to AMP

I was expecting there to be no change whilst viewing on a desktop computer and only see the AMP page if I navigated to our website via a mobile device.

If this is not how the plugin is supposed to work then that’s fine but please notify users prior to downloading and installing, it would save you a lot of support requests

Since deleting I am still having issues with social media icons not displaying correctly, they will only display with a refresh of the page. maybe a caching issue.

@encodingjabbar I should have noted down a few examples, but I can’t remember right now. At least it’s something really easy to imagine and it does make a lot of sense.

    Hi @rfischmann,

Sorry, we don’t have the feature of redirecting the pages to Non-AMP when the pages are opened in AMP, but we would like to see the pages which get the redirected to Non-AMP pages, so if you could provide us the links it will help us.

    Hi @4gconsultancy,

I don’t know what type of setup have have gone through, but from your previous mail, I have understood that you might have enabled the Option of AMP Takeover.
    See this screenshot: http://take.ms/zlGlI
Due to which AMP pages are shown on the Desktop version.
So please check it once again, you may know what you have done wrong.
