Redirect Issue

Hi,

I have a problem where users click on a link from a Mailchimp archive to a restricted page. even though the user is already logged into the site the login form comes up (used the shortcode [LOGIN_FORM] ) but when they log in again they are redirected to the dashboard login page instead of the page they were trying to reach.

any advice on what to do here?
