Have you tried to deactivate plugins other than Private Only?
The problem does not occur with the same plugin set on an earlier theme version. I think it is some clash with the theme. I will have to stick to the old theme until I can rectify the issue.
Hello Kate, Back again.
I think the difficulty with my issue, is that I need more than one public page… register, login (a specific page in my theme), as well as my terms and conditions page.
Is this something I could code in easily enough… I have just half broken my site and need to upgrade to 3.5.1 now and the new version of my Apptheme…

The theme has its own redirect mechanism that make Private Only doesn’t work
