Redirect loop

I love this plugin because it looks lovely and doesn’t force me to have a count down or social sharing buttons which we very rarely use. However it’s started showing an error ‘redirect loop’ where I have it installed now. I have tried deactivating all other plugins with no success. Do you know why this is happening please? Hesitant to move to another plugin.
