When I deactivate Squirrly SEO Advanced, it works again. Is there a conflict with the redirection plugin?

👋 Hi Arnaud,
Having two plugins that both to the same job, in this case managing redirections, can cause issues.
We strongly recommend using only Squirrly SEO’s redirect module or Redirection plugin, but not both together.
Note! The Advanced Pack has the Redirect Module included in it, which is why the conflict goes away once disabled. However, to disable only the Redirect feature, you can go to Sqiurrly SEO > All Features.

Hello, I use Squirrly redirect but no other plugin like Redirect 301. I just installed Ultimate 410 because I didn’t find a 410 redirect with Squirrly SEO. So maybe this is the conflict?

The best way to find out if the redirects are coming from our plugin is by disabling all plugins besides Squirrly SEO and checking out the pages. This way, you can know for sure where it’s occurring.
Also, all the redirects made by Squirrly are visible under Squirrly SEO > Redirect > Rules.

Yes, I know that, but you can make a 410 redirect with Squirrly, right? So, how can I manage my 410? Do I need to install a plugin ?

We currently have the following redirects, where 410 is not one of them.
301 – Moved Permanently
302 – Found
307 – Temporary Redirect
308 – Permanent Redirect
404 – Page Not Found
Instead of 410 we recommend using 301 or 404 if you wish to use only Squirrly redirects.
