@wonka2 In relation to the ‘redirect_uri’ issue can you check your WordPress Address and Site Address match from within your general settings?
Can you see any Analytics tracking code when looking at the source code of your site? If you want to share your URL I can take a look. There may be a plugin or theme feature where you’ve implemented Analytics.

Thanks @jamesosborne they both do actually match. They both matching, they greyed out and I can’t change them. my URL is https://williserdman.com, for the Analytics thing.
Thanks, Willis

Actually I figured out my reditect_url mismatch error. I deactivated all my plugins and then re-activated Site Kit, and it worked!
I am getting the same error. But at my site the wordpress files are located in a subfolder. When I first installed site kit, it worked fine. Problems began, when i switched to https.
Can you offer me some help. I tried already to set permission, to add https in both analytics and search console, etc. I can’t seem to get it to work anymore.
PageSpeed works, but Analytics just won’t set up.

Edit:
Error message: ‘redirect_uri’ mismatch

@sivation If you want to open a new support topic we can assist you from there. There is also a GitHub enhancement request which may relate to the issue you are encountering here.
If your “WordPress Site URL” and “WordPress Address URL” already do match including the https mention that, along with additional or relevant information from which we can assist with.

@sivation what worked for me was deactivating all plugins (maybe even deleting, can’t remember) I then got Site Kit working, and reactivated my plugins, been working fine since. Good Luck!
@wonka2 Thanks for the update, good to know. I will keep a note of it as a reference for others. If you are enjoying the plugin now that you managed to get it working be sure to leave a review.
I had this problem. my url in general settings was missing the “S” on HTTPS that google was expecting.
